We’re back with episode eight: The Ocho! Google Buzz, Steam for Mac, This! That! OOoooooo boy!

Goldilocks tried the iPhone and said “too small!” Then Goldilocks tried the MacBook Pro and said “too big!” And then Goldilocks tried the iPad and said “WTF, I don’t get it.”
Christ almighty Goldilocks, is there no satisfying you?

Omar and Dave go to CES in Vegas and bring you back tons of exclusive scoops you won’t get anywhere else! Also that was a lie! We just read Engadget from home then made porn jokes.

Merry Christmas to us! We tell you what tech stuff you can buy for your loved ones — us. Whether you want to spend $250 or $2500 we have items to fit your budget!*
* No presents please.
Jingle Bells by Kevin MacLeod

Sit through about 45 minutes of tech discussion about Google’s Chrome OS thing, Black Friday helpers, online cart scams and console advice to get the real star of the show a rare* on-air belch by Glark.
* Not rare at all. Not in the least.

On the third episode we go off-format. We are restless! Professional hater Tara Ariano joins us this week as we read and discuss your social media pet peeves. It’s a long one so plan your whole day around it.
We’re seeing a lot of Twitter, Facebook and Flickr messages that people are regretting letting their social network contact/friends/whatever lists get away from them. Once the signal-to-noise ratio tips to noise then the network becomes a chore rather than a tool or a pleasure.
So we are hereby proposing November 24th as the International Day of No Hard Feelings Social Network Cull.
On that day you should take a look at your lists and trim the fat if you find some. Don’t feel guilty about it! Reclaim those shiny manageable contact lists you once had. Don’t feel bad about a quick post that says you needed to get back to basics and it is nothing personal (or you can just link here and let the IDONHFSNC do the talking).

It’s episode 2! Hoo-ray! In one short week we have doubled the size of the Age Of Lasers library. Suck on that Alexandria! Next week we’re doing a new social media pet peeves segment. What do people do on Facebook, Twitter, email, IM and message boards that drive you nuts? Please let us know by text or audio at feedback@ageoflasers.com.

It’s the very rough and incredibly uneven premiere episode of Age of Lasers! Experience rambling! Marvel at the Family Guy putdown joke that you might think is racist! Hear a discussion about media centers that takes longer than it does to just install one and see for yourself! Cherish the high ear-shattering peaks and mumbly lows of our duct-taped audio setup! Hey, screw you, we’re trying!
Send us your tech, gadget, videogame and colonial recipe questions by text or even better as an audio file to feedback@ageoflasers.com. You can also hit us at Twitter.
