International Day of No Hard Feelings Social Network Cull
by Age Of Lasers
We’re seeing a lot of Twitter, Facebook and Flickr messages that people are regretting letting their social network contact/friends/whatever lists get away from them. Once the signal-to-noise ratio tips to noise then the network becomes a chore rather than a tool or a pleasure.
So we are hereby proposing November 24th as the International Day of No Hard Feelings Social Network Cull.
On that day you should take a look at your lists and trim the fat if you find some. Don’t feel guilty about it! Reclaim those shiny manageable contact lists you once had. Don’t feel bad about a quick post that says you needed to get back to basics and it is nothing personal (or you can just link here and let the IDONHFSNC do the talking).
